Founded in 2018 by J Mikel Poulsen, Fortis Coatings dominates the Southern Utah market. Mikel currently lives in St George, Utah with his wife Marci and their five children. Mikel was born and raised in Bremerton, Washington. Mikel is an avid student of the financial markets, having earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Brigham Young University- Idaho as well as a minor in Japanese after serving a full time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Japan Tokyo South Mission from 1999-2001. He enjoys boating with his family, hiking, and music, especially from the 80’s.
